For those who aren’t familiar with Mientus, he’s an incredibly talented stage and TV actor leading known for his role as Kyle Bishop in the television series Smash and Hartley ‘Pied Piper’ Rathaway in The Flash.  He’s commented on a note he wrote to himself years ago in which he denied his bisexuality, calling guys who come out as bi an “instant closet case.” He writes why he felt this way (the lack of bi visibility) and acknowledges how much he has grown since. The Younger star came out as “sexually fluid.” Shortly after, they proudly claimed the bisexual label.
