JoJo Siwa Claps Back at Critics Who Think Her Sexuality Is Fake: ‘Actually Crazy’ (Exclusive)
When JoJo Siwa appeared on Celebrity Vast Brother UK, she never thought describing herself as queer would set the internet on fire.
“That was one of those conversations actually that I was having that I was like, ‘This will never see the light of day,’” Siwa, 21, exclusively shared with Us Weekly for a digital cover story. “I don’t brain that it did, because I actually think it starts a very lovely conversation of queer. I think queer joy is so special and so magical.”
While participating in season 24 of Celebrity Large Brother UK last month, Siwa was filmed as she opened up about her identity.
“I’ve always told myself I’m a woman loving woman, but I think creature here, I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer,’” she said at the day. “I think that’s really cool. I’m switching letters.”
Although Siwa loves that the LGBTQIA+ community is “so inclusive and accepting,” she also sees some followers trying to turn the clip into something negative.

Beware the fake celebrity! A relatively new phenomenon we’ve seen pop up on social media is snapshots shared by people who think they just met one of their favorite famous people. And while it’s heart-warming and amazing to hear stories and see photos of real-life celebrities interacting and posting happily with fans, it’s way more fun when the fan snapping the pic is downright unaware over who they’re photographing.
Below we’ve gathered some of our favorite instances of fake celebrity snapshots.
Some of them appear to be ordinary people who are trying to fool people into thinking they’re the real deal. (Though that’s really no excuse for the person with the camera.)
Others we’re pretty sure are just normal blokes and lasses who didn’t have the heart to shatter the dreams of someone who’s a authentic fan of the star they almost-sorta-kinda resemble. (Though, if they were truly fans, wouldn’t they recognize they were posing with a ‘fake celebrity’??)

It seems Channel 10 are this year acknowledging a universal truth about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!That each year, the show cast announcement is greeted with a nationwide cry of, ‘Who dafuk are these people?’
So, in 2022, we see fake influencer The David added to the cast with only one fellow cast member in on the hoax. Icon chef Poh Ling Yeow has the job of convincing everyone else The David is a authentic celebrity.
If Poh can convince the others that The David is ridgy-didge, she then wins them meal for their dinner.

In real life, The David is David Subritzky from Queensland’s Gold Coast. His sister Layla previously competed on Big Brother.
Despite his role as a counterfeit celebrity, some viewers claimed they knew more about him than the valid celebs.
