Pride Month is almost here, with the entire month of June dedicated to the celebration and commemoration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, gender nonconforming and other sexualities.
The "Gay Days" event will make its annual return to Walt Disney World and other Orlando theme parks next week for LGBTQ+ group members and theme park lovers alike.

There are a number of days and months observed, celebrated, and honored by the LGBTQ community. While the list below is specific to LGBTQ-focused days, weeks, and months, LGBTQ people also observe and celebrate non-LGBTQ specific moments such as Black History Month, Latinx Heritage Month, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mother’s Date, Father’s Day, Women’s History Month, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Media coverage of these and other non-LGBTQ focused moments should incorporate LGBTQ people and the intersections of LGBTQ people and the respective topic.

The LGBTQ+ rights movement has made tremendous strides over the past several decades and much of the progress in public presence is thanks in part to gay pride parades and marches that contain taken place in cities around the world.
The global landscape for LGBTQ+ rights, protections and acceptance varies tremendously by location, with some destinations attracting millions of visitors to their events like Madrid Homosexual Pride, Sao Paulo Homosexual Pride or San Francisco Gay Pride, while more than 70 other countries have laws that permit discrimination or persecution of LGBTQ+ people.

WDW June Gay Days general Discussion Thread
So just wanted to reassure everyone, in my personal experience, that WDW is indeed a safe environment year rotund, including Gay Days.
Gay Days are traditionally built around the first Saturday in June. This year it is June 7, and following the normal schedule the designated parks are:
Thursday June 5, Animal Kingdom
Friday June 6, Disney Studios
Saturday Jine 7, Magic Kingdom
Sunday June 8, EPCOT
The parks are open to the general public, it is not a private ticket event, unlike at Disneyland.
While there are some personal events, and one promoter is actually scheduling a week earlier than usual this year, including a private ticket party at
Typhoon Lagoon scheduled for May
Ill be traveling with a friend, whose wife hates traveling, so he goes with me often. Also in my party will be his 16 yo grandson. Well be at WDW June 4 to While we are doing the parks, the only one were doing on the designated night is Magic Kingdom, its just the way our schedule worked out. I was also able to book the DVC Moonlight Magic event at Typhoon Lagoon for June 9. Ive never been to Typhoon Lagoon, as Im generally not a fluid park perso.
