Gay cartoon series
I’ve never grown out of my love for cartoons, and it’s a excellent thing because I firmly believe some of the best LGBTQ+ storytelling to ever grace our teevees has happened in animated series. When I started writing about gay TV, there were no gender non-conforming characters on all-ages TV at all, and now there’s more than I can even keep up with. And so I’ve done a deep dive and assembled a list of 30 of the best lesbian, bisexual, and queer episodes of animated TV. I hope you’ll add your favorites in the comments!

The episode also features the super gay break-up anthem “I’m Just Your Problem.”
The Legend of Korra, “The Last Stand”
The Legend of Korra‘s series finale is often considered the new d

Happy Pride Month everyone! Over the past year I have been compiling up many different LGBTQ+ cartoons. These cartoons will either have LGBTQ+ characters as leads, prominent secondary characters, or just give me the good ol' lgbtq+ vibes. I want to point out positive and interesting representation from cartoons (and some anime) recent and old.
I actually did a list like this last year, which can be found here.
I haven't seen every single cartoon or anime with Homosexual characters and please authorize me know if I left out any excellent entries from this list or my list from last year. I am only one lesbian and I can't watch everything ever made. I aspire you find some modern shows to watch from this list because there are some quality toons here. Let's get started!

TV shows such as ‘Steven Universe,’ ‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,’ and ‘Craig of the Creek’ are leading the way with the most LGBTQ characters in children's animation.
Supposedly an exhaustive list of “gay” cartoon characters. (I use “gay” as shorthand for LGBTQ+ because I hate acronyms.) Some of these characters are lovely minor and some of these cartoons I’ve seen and had no concept the character was homosexual. Still, it might be a pretty good instruction. I was able to scroll through and notice what shows were listed that my kids contain watched and see which characters and how major they are.
I would speak, though, looking at our society - Going forward, probably anything made past 2020 is going to be highly suspect unless specifically Christian.
